I’m Scott W. Vincent, a thirtysomething computer programmer/IT tech/sysadmin (geek) living and working in rural Northeast Ohio. I got started with BASIC (I know, I’m ruined forever), went on to find a career developing Access database applications and repairing computers, and most recently have started developing .NET Framework applications in C#.Net. I also have to play the role of system and network administrator, but I do my best to avoid it.
I chose information technology over electronics when I couldn’t figure out how to solder during a vocational school tour in high school. Fifteen years later, I tried again and I now enjoy building circuits and interacting with them through microcontrollers. When I’m not pounding away at a keyboard, brandishing a soldering iron or tearing something apart, I enjoy motorcycles, cycling and photography.
If you’d like to email me, my address is my first name (Scott) at my other domain (swvincent.com).
